People have failed for thousands of years to live underwater. But, now humans can live with Sebastian the crab. He has planned to make a group of eco-villages that can house up to 20,000 people in the distant future. Callebaut calls these building “ocean-scrapers” that will go all the way to the bottom of the body of water. The buildings look like jelly-fish structures, and will be produced from recycle material. Aequorea has not only living space but will also have, hoteles, offices, science labs, sport fields, and farming land all spread across 250 floors. To answer some people's questions the Aequorea is made with geometry and ballasting that will counteract marine whirlpools and natural buoyancy, so you don’t need to worry about strong currents, earthquakes, or storms. So the Aequorea is completely safe. This unique city has advanced our way of life.
