Traveling to foreign countries can be very difficult especially if you don’t know how to speak the native tone. Communication, such as directions seems near impossible to find, that is until about now. Recently I came across a very intriguing article about a language translator called Lli. It doesn’t just give you text to read off of, it actually reads it out loud, and it’s voice activated. The Lli, launched at CES 2016, “Is a wearable translator repeats phrases back to you in the language of your choosing.” The available languages currently are limited to just, English, Chinese, and Japanese. The maker or the Lli, Logbar wants to add more variety soon. This handy traveling tool also includes a phrase dictionary for common interactions. The device is still a work in progress, but it is hoped to become a reality very soon.
I found this article interesting because I have always wanted to travel to many different countries, but only have a good understanding on the english language. With this Device, communication will be easy and breezy.
